It’s October! Okay, so it’s been October for a week… which means #SpookySeason is well underway! However, I wanted to share a few of my favorite things from last month that I am still obsessing over! September was such a fun month + with all of the Emmys madness, the month flew by so quickly (if you missed my post about attending the Emmys you can read it HERE)! This post is also an ‘Instagram roundup’ because I’ve already shared most of these items over on my Instagram. We are now entering the second week of October and I still can’t stop talking about these September favorites…
1. Aerie Sweatshirt & Leggings
I am still obsessing over my new sweatshirt and leggings from Aerie! This sweatshirt is the softest and most comfy shirt I currently own and I can’t get enough of these leggings! Seriously, I bought three pairs of these leggings because they are THAT good! I will be wearing this sweatshirt + leggings combo on repeat for the rest of forever. For size reference, I’m wearing a XS in the sweatshirt and a Medium in the leggings (my true size in leggings).
2. MTV Graphic Tee
I can’t get enough of this fun graphic tee! I love the color and the leopard print detail… + it’s under $15! You can style this tee so many different ways and graphic tees are totally trending right now. This also comes in a grey/camo version. I sized up to a Large because it’s somewhat cropped.
3. Blue Light-Up Pumpkin
I am in LOVE with the blue light-up pumpkin I picked up at Marshalls this month (see below photo)! It’s battery operated and it gives off the perfect glow. This size was $14.99 and Marshalls has a bunch of these pumpkins in various sizes and colors. I believe TJ Maxx has these pumpkins now, too! I had to resist buying more (trust me, I already have way too many fall decorations)!
4. Copper Mule Mugs
As of lately, Moscow Mules are my go-to cocktail. I wanted to get some copper mugs so that Rick and I could make our own mules at home! This pack of two copper mugs is under $16 and they are perfect for at-home mules.
5. FabFitFun Fall Box
Of course my FabFitFun fall box is making my list of favorites for September! FabFitFun is my favorite subscription service that I’ve tried (you can read about the other subscription services I’ve tried HERE). I love every single thing that came in my fall box! Be sure to check out my FabFitFun Fall Unboxing video on IGTV HERE to see what full-size products came in my box! If you are interested in trying FabFitFun, you can sign up HERE to get 50% off of your first box through October 14!
6. Rent the Runway and Glamsquad
If you read my post about the Emmys and/or followed my Emmy adventures on the ‘gram, you know that I was SO thankful for Rent the Runway and Glamsquad last month! I had to include these two companies/services in my September Favorites because without them, I would have been lookin’ a hot mess at the Emmys!
With that being said, I wanted to add a little caveat about Rent the Runway just in case any of you felt compelled to try RTR after hearing me rave about them. If you didn’t catch the recent tea regarding Rent the Runway, the company had some ‘operational issues’ in September and apparently some customers are not happy with them. I somehow lucked out and got my dress for the Emmys with no problem + I had a great first experience with RTR. However, a lot of other customers had their September orders cancelled at the last minute. Yeah, it’s a whole thing.
I can only speak about my personal experience and reiterate that I was very happy with Rent the Runway and I do plan on renting from them again in the future! If you’re interested in trying Rent the Runway, they will be taking new customers/orders again after October 15.
I also have to give a shoutout to Glamsquad again because I was SO happy with their services and my overall experience with them for the Emmys. Glamsquad was definitely one of my favorite things last month! It was such a treat to have my hair and makeup professionally done. Plus, the fact that Glamsquad comes to you makes everything so much easier/less stressful for an event. I couldn’t recommend Glamsquad more. You can read more about Glamsquad in my Emmys post HERE.
